This time, The Blue Study Live invites three up-and-coming British jazz musicians to bring you a jazz night full of exotic charm🎷
Harry Toulson, Oscar Ho and Edgar Ho all grew up in the northeast of England, sharing similar cultural backgrounds and musical influences. They attended Chetham's School of Music and Guildhall School of Music, respectively, where they were deeply immersed in the British jazz tradition during their studies and made it a core part of their musical training. While jazz is often seen as an American musical language, it has also taken root on the other side of the Atlantic, evolving into a unique and diverse sound through absorption and reinterpretation.
After graduating, the trio established themselves in the London and UK jazz scenes. For this performance, the band will present a series of original compositions and reinterpretations of British jazz classics with a fresh and exotic jazz perspective, offering Hong Kong audiences a wonderful performance that combines originality and tradition.
